NTA NET JRF Online Form 2023 – Notification Out

NTA NET JRF Online Form 2023 has been announced by NTA. The UGC NET 2023 application form is available on September 30, 2023, for the December session, The UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year, in June and December, and it’s organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It’s an eligibility test for Indian students who want to become Assistant Professors or get a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor Program.

The NTA administers the UGC NET exam to assess Indian nationals’ eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship’ positions in Indian universities. The UGC – NET December 2023 will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for 83 subjects.

This test helps determine if people are knowledgeable enough to become Assistant Professors or Junior Research Fellows (JRF). In December 2023, there will be a NET exam.

UGC NET 2023 Application Form:

  • You could start applying for UGC NET 2023 from September 30, 2023, for the December session.
  • The last day to apply online was October 28, 2023.
  • You could only fill out the form online.
  • If you needed to fix something in your application, you could do that from October 30 to 31, 2023.
  • The application fee depends on your category: Rs. 1150 for General/UR, Rs. 600 for General-EWS/OBC-NCL, and Rs. 325 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender candidates.
  • You could pay the fee online using SBI/Canara/HDFC Bank, credit card, debit card, or UPI.

UGC NET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

  • To apply, you need to have a master’s degree from a recognized university.
  • You should have scored at least 55% marks (50% for OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Third gender candidates) without rounding off.
  • If you were aiming for JRF, you couldn’t be older than 30 years as of June 1, 2023, but they’d give you a 5-year relaxation if you were from reserved categories.
  • There wasn’t a maximum age limit for the Assistant Professor role.
  • Even if you were in your final year in 2023, you could still apply for UGC NET 2023.

UGC NET 2023 Exam Pattern:

  • The exam happened online (on a computer).
  • There were two papers.
  • You could choose to answer in English or Hindi.
  • Paper I had 100 marks and 50 questions, while Paper II had 200 marks and 100 questions.
  • You had 3 hours for both papers.
  • They gave you 2 marks for every correct answer, and they didn’t take away marks for wrong answers.

UGC NET 2023 Admit Card:

  • You can download your admit card for UGC NET 2023 from the first week of December 2023, just a few days before the exam.
  • You’d also get a slip telling you the exam city in December 2023.
  • You could only get your admit card online, and you had to bring it to the exam along with a Self Declaration (Undertaking) and a photo ID.

  • NTA will release the UGC NET Result 2023 in January 2024, and you can check it online.
